I have to be honest with you. In the last few installments, I've been promising you some details on the new home for my trains that we built a few years ago. Fact is that I can't find the pictures. : ( Until I do, I don't have much to show you.
So... in the meantime...
I went train-watching with a friend in Fostoria this past week. We weren't sure that it would be a good time to go since it was a holiday week, but we went anyway. As usual, things were slower until later in the afternoon /early evening, then the traffic picked up considerably.
One of the more interesting things I saw was this car that had been painted or "tagged" by some vandals. I'm almost hesitant to show it here because I DO NOT look upon tagging as a form of art at all. It is vandalism, pure & simple. I'd like to ask those who think that it is art if they would like a tagger to paint something like this on the side of their car or house... after all, they claim it is art, don't they?
Anyway, this just struck me as interesting... Does that covered hopper car really look like a big "Enter" button or key to you?
