Amtrak Exhibit Train to be a part of National Train Day in Toledo

The Amtrak 40th Anniversary Display Train will visit Toledo on May 5 of this year as part of Toledo's National Train Day celebration.  Hours are from 9:30-4:00 and will be at the Amtrak station in downtown Toledo.  It has been forty years since Amtrak was formed to take over passenger train operations of most all of the major rail companies in the US.

For more information about the train, visit the Amtrak 40th Anniversary web site at: http://www.amtrak40th.com/   You may also visit the Toledo Metro Area Council of Governments web site http://www.tmacog.org/index.htm but Train Day 2012 hasn't been posted yet as of this writing.  This sounds like it will be a great family event so you may just want to mark your calendars for the day.
