Stan Munro is a very patient man. He builds models out of toothpicks! While the rest of us modelers use strip wood, styrene sheets & strips, he has picked up the old wooden toothpick and turned it into the basis of his unique art form.
According to the email I received with these (and other) pictures, Stan used over six million toothpicks, almost 45 gallons of glue and nearly 6 years to build this toothpick city. Yes, Stan is indeed a very patient man.
I used to think that my small bridge built out of long, fireplace matchsticks was something... this kind of makes that look like kids' play.
