O. Winston Link took a lot of late-steam era railroad photos in the 1950s. He worked with the PR department of the Norfolk & Western Railroad to set up his photos and coordinate train arrivals, etc. Most all of his work was done at night with older flash equipment. Remember, these photos were taken in the days before electronic flash and high speed films.
