Milepost 677
Walthers has announced a new run of their popular X-29 model in NKP markings. The car, like the one seen here, will have the number 25579 and is currently listed on the Walthers web site as a July, 2013 arrival.
This car has been around for several years but this has some upgrades to it including knuckle-type couplers and metal wheels. It comes RTR and will retail for $21.95. The X-29 would be appropriate for modelers who model the timeframe of the 1920s to the 1960s.
For more information on this car and other find products from Walthers, go to their web site at www.walthers.com and search X-29 under Advanced Reservations.

Dan, on the NKP these are cars inherited from the Wheeling in the late 1940s. NKP did not have any of this box car design until the Wheeling merger. They may not ave been reprinted with NKP markings until the early 1950s.
