CRESTLINE — Crestline’s boys basketball team picked up its first North Central Conference win of the season by knocking off Riverdale 54-48 Friday night.
With the win, the Bulldogs improved their record to 4-8 overall and 1-7 in the NCC. Riverdale fell to 4-7 and 3-5.
Taylor Kin netted 16 points and Landon Kessler added 12 to pace the Falcons.
Mychal Stewart led a trio of Crestline players in double figures with 20 points. Zach Carroll netted 14 and Mike Rhodes chipped in 11.

OTTAWA — Elida used a 16-5 run in the second quarter to gain a 48-47 Western Buckeye League boys basketball victory over Ottawa-Glandorf Friday night.
The Titans led 15-8 after one quarter but Elida shut down the O-G offense in the second quarter allowing the Bulldogs to go into the half up 24-20.
Bo Mathias led all scorers with a 14-point night for Elida (4-7, 1-3 WBL) with 8 of his points in the fourth quarter.
Taylor Kuhlman drained three 3-pointers on his way to an 11-point outing for Ottawa-Glandorf (7-4, 2-2). Jake Meyer pitched in with 10 points for the Titans.

The Wildcats (10-2, 3-2 BVC) only gave up 5 turnovers for the contest while McComb turned the ball over 12 times.
Josh Kloepfer tallied a game-high 17 points for the Wildcats while Nick Lee backed Kloepfer with a 15-point effort.
Shane Swisher’s 10-point outing led the way for the Panthers. McComb’s Kevan Westenbarger grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 3 assists. The Panthers now sit at 5-5 overall and 2-3 in the BVC.

Michael Benton popped in 16 points for the Vikings (3-7, 2-3 BVC). Nate Schroeder tallied 9 points and hauled in 8 rebounds and Aaron Gerten added 9 points for Leipsic.
Arcadia’s C.J. Holman netted 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Landon Fleegle pitched in 11 points for the Redskins (6-5, 1-4).

Mitch Wenzinger led four Miller City players in douible figures with 20 points. Vennekotter scored 16 points, Jordan Konst netted 14 points and Justin Konst added 10 for the Wildcats.

The Pirates trailed 14-8 after the first quarter but put together a 17-9 run in the second period to go into the half up 25-23.
Damon Schmidt was 9-of-9 shooting from the foul line on his way to a 15-point effort for the Pirates (2-11, 0-2). Schmidt also grabbed 9 rebounds while Chase Ordway tallied 14 points and Ben Swartzman added 11 for Continental.
Derek Geise’s 15 points led the way for Fort Jennings (6-5, 1-2) while Aaron Chandler pitched in with 11 points.

Patric Garlock backed Neal with 13 points while Dan Nienberg added 11.

NORTH BALTIMORE — Carey held North Baltimore to four or less points in three of the four quarters Friday night as the Blue Devils collected a 66-21 Midland Athletic League victory over the Tigers.
The Blue Devils also forced North Baltimore (0-12 overall, 0-6 MAL) into 28 turnovers while gaining a 33-15 rebounding edge.
Karrah Windau pumped in 13 points while Courtney Holsinger added 12 points for Carey (12-2, 6-1). Ashley Baker contributed 10 points for Carey, who was 25-of-60 from the field.
