Does Findlay still have a dog park? If so, who handles it. Thanks.

I enjoy this site, I've been away from Findlay for 20 years, living in Indiana, and enjoy reading up on what is happening back home. I crave the Ferns meatloaf sandwiches every so often but the first stop is Jack & Dos Pizza! It appears the Blanchard river has caused some problems. The Kankakee river is threatning to do the same here. God Bless all those who have been affected.

After having our home for sale for six months it is now with drawn. It did not sale but the first 4 months we had many many “lookers’.
We are going to stay in Cowtown until the market improves---lol lol
Maybe we can spend a long visit this summer in Findlay. All of us that have moved from the area real enjoy talking to others about what Findlay is about.
I thank the Courier for the CEE for keeping me in touch about life in Findlay.
I was disappointed though that the Courier wanted $153 for me to have an article in the paper about our 50th wedding anniversary on Dec 24, 2008. Several of the staff including the editor sent me emails concerning the cost to the paper.
All in the entire Courier is still a good paper; Cindy Moorehead does an outstanding job with the editorial page. My brother Jerry was in the newspaper business for 35 years and still writes a weekly column for his home town paper.
God bless all in the Findlay area.

My husband and I and our 3 cats are Findlay snowbirds. This year we were in Tucson, AZ, for 6 weeks and then Houston, TX, for 6 weeks. All 5 of us hate snow, but we really miss Findlay and our friends when we are gone from Findlay enjoying warm temperatures and sunny days. That's why every morning I go online and check out the Courier. I sigh everytime it snows in Findlay because I know we can't return yet to that tundra. Waiting for Findlay sun and wrm temps--Sandy & Burnie Ducat, along with Sally, Angel, and Bosco

Courier Staff,
I grew up in Findlay and now visit the website on a daily basis, it's fast, easy, and a convenient way to stay informed on news in the Findlay area. The website is very user friendly, and all the articles are well written. Keep up the great work!

The engeneers from the army will do like they did new Orleans fence in a mud hole. The old rail road bridges are not long enought to let water pass. If you start at 115 and make each bridge twenty feet longer I think most of your flood problems would be so.lved

Greetings from Central Florida - Findlay being my town of birth will always hold a special place in my heart ... a recent 1/24) brunch in Bradenton brought forth a goodly number of Hancock County partial or permanent transplants ... great to hear "Buckeye" spoken!!! :) Will hope the flooding situation in Findlay can be remedied in the near future! ... Need to have dry land for September class reunion!!! :) ... a 59er ...

Norm, looks like the Buckeyes will be visiting you again! Better hold off on that house sale. LOL!

I will be in Findlay for 7 days looking for a new residants---we will be moving back when we sell our home here in Sedona. Is there any new restaurants we should visit while in town. Since Millers is not open on North Main I need other good family restaurant to loaf in.

Wolfie - I probably just missed you...we were home for Mom's funeral the middle week of July. Know what you mean about the flood damage. I think New China is going to re-open, though. Look for it the next time through!
