Hey library-goers: this is the last week that the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library will be open on its current reduced schedule.
Effective Jan. 3, the library will be returning to its former, longer hours.
New hours in downtown Findlay will be Monday through Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. At the Arlington Branch Library new hours will be Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The library reduced its hours in 2009 because of funding. Last May, voters approved an operating levy to allow for restoring the hours.
