Pitch, Hit & Run

Here's a little update:

Besides heading up the Major Youth League (13 - 15 year olds) I also took on coaching in the Pee-Wee League (7 - 8 year olds). That's a bit of an adjustment. I'm kind of feeling like I may have bitten off more than I can chew. Although, it is a labor of love. I enjoy the sport, the kids & the atmoshpere surrounding youth baseball. I sure hope it's enjoyable for the kids & their families as well.

There's a fantastic event coming up for these young aspiring baseball players to show their stuff. It's Pitch, Hit & Run: the baseball version of Punt, Pass & Kick. Here's the info if you know some folks who may be interested.

Sunday, April 27, 2008 (make up is May 4, 2008)
Registration: 1pm - 2pm
Competition begins at 2pm
Location: Emory Adams - south fields
Coordinator:
Steve McMaster

I promise, I'll get back to politics before too long. Just allow me some time to adjust & get my seasons under way.
