I recently found this recipe in a magazine and whipped it up for my family. We loved it and I think you will too! Give it a try...its too easy!
S'Mores Pie
1 pkg (8 oz) Cream Cheese, softened
1 1/4 C Heavy Whipping Cream
1 jar Chocolate Hazelnut Spread (Nutella or other brand name ok)
1 Graham Cracker Crust (9 inch)
3 C Miniature Marshmallows
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and cream until thickened. Add hazelnut spread; beat just until combined. Spoon into crust. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
Just before serving, top with marshmallows; press gently into filling. Broil 6 in. from the heat for 1-2 minutes or until marshmallows are golden brown. Don't walk away during this step as the marshmallows will burn quickly. Mine only took a matter of seconds to brown lightly.
* I doubled this and made two pies for a family gathering. It is very rich and we ate smaller pcs than anticipated so I had a lot leftover. This pie kept wonderfully in the fridge for several days until we finished it up. It did not get runny or watery at all and could easily be made a day or two ahead of planned serving, just save the marshmallow step for right before you plan to eat it. For the pie we had left over I did not use the marshmallows and just served it with whipped cream instead. Was yummy!!
